General info:
Want to march colorguard after high school? Want to afford it and get a college education? Planning to stay in or near San Diego County? Well, consider San Diego State University.

At SDSU we offer the Marching Aztecs for the fall and Aztec Winter Guard for the winter.

The marching band is a fun relaxed program. You do not have to be a full-time student at SDSU to participate and the band pays you!!!!

· Every fall member receives a $300 fee (which could in turn help pay for winter guard)
· You DO NOT need to attend SDSU
· Travel opportunities
· Manageable practice schedule
· Get general ed credit for marching in fall or winter guard
· Great staff of instructors with tons of experience

Aztec Winter Guard also offers affordable fees, light practice schedule and lots of fun to continue spinning after high school and a chance to be apart of a growing and competitive program. We have a strong staff and plan to continue building on what we have started the last two seasons. Our staff members are also other employees of SDSU who can also offer you strong support and advice when it comes to adjusting to college life.

If you are at all interested and have questions please fell free to contact me, Christopher Dye, guard director at christopheradye@yahoo.com and also log on to the Marching Aztecs website and fill out the online “intent” to march form so we can contact you: http://bands.sdsu.edu/marchingband.php

Fall color guard tryouts will be held Friday August 21 at 10 am at SDSU, band camp is Aug 24-28.

Winterguard audition will be held in October.
