end of the year gift?
I want to give my girls a gift to remember this year and to thank them for all their hard work. Right now I am thinking of a photo collage or a framed picture. Anyone have any other ideas? I also do little gift bags filled with goodies for special occasions, but I want to do something different since I will not be back next year...

Re: end of the year gift?
Every year I make an, "End of the year video" with pictures and video from the entire year, and it ends with words of wisdom and goodbyes from our 8th graders and final video/picture footage of 8th graders set to the Vitamin C version of "Graduation." We actually sell it for $10 as our last fundraiser of the year to get enough money to be set for band camp in the fall.
This year our coach wants me to make a separate winterguard video and I am considering doing that. If you'd like some help or tips on how to put one together let me know.

That picture/photo idea is a great idea! I couldn't agree more!

LOL .. YOU would say that Charles. But seriously, we ordered from Charles a 5x7 of each girls' best shot during the season, put the pic in a simple glass clip frame, decorated the edge with flowers in the colors of the floor/flags/uniforms, and made up a 12 page (11x17 folded in 1/2) mini yearbook showing other pics of not only the Winter Guard season but the marching season as well, plus listed the competitions and scores. We also had staff bios and pics and info on fundraisers they did.crfrey71 wrote:That picture/photo idea is a great idea! I couldn't agree more!

Well, I wish the Blurb photo books would already be in my shopping cart on my site. Those would be great for exactly this purpose. I believe they will be added at some time this year. There are changes coming down the road, but they aren't coming soon enough.
