need flag repair advice

What are safe glues, tapes, or other things that can help stop frays or repair a rip in lame flags?

there is a fray guard thing (its in a tube) you can buy at most fabric stores... the only problem is it makes the fabric a little stiff... but if you need it, its a good solution.... I always loved how lame looked on the floor but hated how short a life span they had!

Fray Block is the stuff you need.

Here's a picture of it:

I buy it at Wal-mart. Costs under $3.00 I never have lame' in my flags without it. It is magical stuff.

Haha! Short life span on lame... yeah. I was filling a hole in new drill tonight, and typical klutzy me, triped and ripped a flag right on a seam! Love Lame... hate how delicate it is!

Great rule of thumb for guard instructors... when ordering or making flags, always get extras!
