Why is your section amazing?

I love my section! :yeah: But th reason my section (color guard) is so amazing is that they all volunteer their time and WANT to be there. Those girls are a second family to me. Unlike in the band, which at my school is for a grade, guard is totally optional and you have to be dedicated to be in it. no whining, no drama, just progress. if we have an issue, we talk it out. its amazing, and i hope it continues. :D

So, why do you love your sections :?:

ditto for our drumline!
especially during winter season!
shows and award ceremonies are twice as fun with just our drumline rather than fall season with the whole band...more energetic lol
its always more fun when you have a pretty close group you work with:]

Saxophones have the most fun. If you look up the Quintessence Saxophone Quintet you will know why. And sax have many special effect such as overtones or altisimo. You guys thought trumpet player could play high, but a saxophone can play higher

Sounds fun. there was drumline tryouts for us tonight, and there was a pretty good turn out. i would do it, but winterguard sucks up all of my free time. oh well!
