hey so bought a new Engelbert Schmid horn so i am looking to sell my old conn 8d elkheart from the late sixties. The horn is in basically flawless condition, one or two minor dents, bells is perfect. It still has its Original Lacquer and shines like new. I bought this horn from my friends mom who got as a high school graduation gift, and never played it, so it sat in her garage for 40 years so its practically new. anyways, the only problem with the horn is a little fold up screw drivier fell in the bell and is lodged pretty deep in the horn (beyond the reach of a snake) i was told it was an easy fix, but i dont want to spend money on it, because i have a new horn. anyways, from what i gather these are pretty good and rare horns to find in good condition, im asking about 3,000 for it right now. pm me and i can send you pictures. thanks alot
