Limited space remains for the winter guard education clinic on Saturday, December 14 beginning at 7:30 a.m. at Arcadia High School. The clinic will include separate and combined sessions for instructors and judges, and features a veritable Who's Who of WGI luminaries as guest speakers, as well as Karl Lowe, the creative mastermind behind Independent World Class Champion Fantasia.

JH/MS, Regional, Independent, Intermediate, and Scholastic 'A' guard instructors and interested band directors should make a special effort to attend, as there will be a general session on the radical changes to 'A' class judging that will be implemented this year.

Other sessions include:

For instructors:

Ensemble Analysis: The Mystery Caption (Kevin Roberts)
Dealing with the Mindset of Your Performers (Shirley Dorritie)
Managing Your Time at Rehearsal (Karl Lowe)
Do You See What I See? (WGI judges panel: Mike Turner, Curtis Costanza, Shirley Dorritie, Shirlee Whitcomb)

For judges:

Practical Training on the New IA Sheets (Shirlee Whitcomb)
What Are You Looking At?: What every instructor wants to tell the judges (Karl Lowe)
Caption Meetings (Curtis Costanza, Mike Turner, Michael Gray, Shirley Dorritie)
Being One with Yourself (Michale Gray)

In addition, there will be a general session with live performances that will include interaction between instructors, judges, and performers.
