I agree with my brother (alto s@x 87). He's right and we're getting the closer done, but I'm not sure when. It depends how fast it's written. I only wish I could have seen the other bands. A large part of me misses the days when I could sit in the stands cuddled under a blanket with my mom, watching the bands. I would always comment about the guard's flags, costumes, dance moves, drops... the list goes on. That's probably what made me join guard mainly. I'm really proud of our band. Our first competition is usually a disaster. Two years ago we got disqualified. Last year our guard bus broke down on an offramp. (We cheered as we passed the offramp.) But yeah, I'm proud of Upland. I would also really like to congratulate Chino, Woodbridge, and Ayala. Again, I really wish I could have seen your shows.
"I know I can do it," Tod Downy said, helping himself to another ear of corn from the steaming bowl. "I'm sure that in time her death will be a mystery, even to me."
