The Rancho Buena Vista High School Band and Pageantry, The Rhythm of the Ranch, will proudly host the First Annual Rancho Buena Vista Premier Field Tournament on Saturday, October 9, 2004. Bands from all over Southern California will converge on Vista, California for an early view of what the rest of this year's field marching season will bring.
This will be a SCSBOA-adjudicated tournament.

i heard their new stadium is awesome. it looks nice from the outside. whats the stadium/field like, anyone know?

Stadium is nice, both visitors and home side. It seats 3500 (home) and 1500 (visitors), so there should be ample room. It was designed as a 'band stadium' (the guy who was in charge of it made sure of that) and not a football stadium.
It has a high press box, which should make for some really nice videos.

Its synthetic, both the track and the field.

Here's some pictures: (These were taken last year, before the track and stadium were completely done, everything is done now though)

omg it is soo nice...no more pot holes or bumps...its like foamy and so cool...its so wonderful for marching on!!!

Quite a picture from ground level. You sure have some big guys on your football team. How do they run with all that padding? At least they can't get hurt.

Overall this was a great tournament. Its a great venue and it was run very well. Props to RBV for a great tournament! :D





P.S. i believe the band score for ramona was 67.5 not 67.8..

If you purchased a DVD of the last few bands at the RBV Tournament, there may be some tracking issues with the recording.

It has been fixed, and new versions of the DVDs are available, please contact the videographer.
