Putting down the hammer

Post by jacjar1 » Mon Aug 09, 2004 10:17 am

I have been very critical of some of the admin decisions on this site as I found quite a bit of inconsistency with locks and with just bashing because of an opinion stated.

However it’s a very difficult job trying to keep repetitive, inaccurate and just plain stupidness off the forums. (I admin a few forums so I know the pain it can be).

So give the admins a break!

Besides all the money they make from doing the admin job...oh wait they are VOLUNTEERS!!!! LOL heavy sarcasim

There is no real answer other than we should be policing ourselves and take a breath before hitting the submit button. Sometimes what we want to say doesn’t come out the way it is posted...just be cool have fun...We are a few weeks away from when things really start to heat up on this board!!!

Hey, what happened to the other posts on this thread? There was one about formerbuker, and some other suknays...did someone sprinkle magic dust and make them vanish before our eyes?

HUH?

New director at JW North

Post by BlueStarMom » Thu Aug 12, 2004 1:34 am

The new director is Adam Kell. We were introduced to him at our booster meeting. He seems very nice. A season of new: new director, new show, new music and new season. Good luck to all.

Hrm. Santa Margarita in 3a? Interesting! I think 4a is going to be super competitive with Carlsbad, Westlake and Hart. However, 3a is still going to be super competitive with their loss. It is going to be a great one. Everything's been shaken up from 1a to 6a in some way or fashion so it's anybody's game!

I think that the band/guards this year are going to do great! Me personally...I predict I will have an awesome year and that's because I love our show...it's so much fun. I predict that the top band/guards will blow us away, as always. It is definitely too early to predict who will come out on top, but we can still have our expectations!

Sorry liberatemenow, as a member of a 6A band/guard I can't really give a good unbiased opinion of that group. I mean of course I want my band/guard to win, but I want everyone else to do good too.

Anyway best of luck to any and all competitors...let the marching season begin! (or at least the competition part since most of us started "marching season" at band camp)

I think sweeps is open for almost any of the 6A bands to take. Etiwanda and RB are consistent every season. But El Dorado, RBV, and Arcadia have stepped it up the last few years. I'm hearing a lot of buzz about Mount Carmel's show, and who knows what Chino, Diamond Bar, and Vista have up their sleeves, but I'm sure all will have great shows. Kudos to Murrieta Valley for stepping into the ring with the juggernauts.

No one has seen any of these shows, so it's all speculation right now. Anyway, back to the question, I think it's anyones to take in 6A.

At JW North HS in Riverside the BSR has a new director Adam Kehl. Mr. Pete Jackson went to become the director at San Clemente HS.
