Since my other post has been locked, I guess I'll just create a post that is a little more typical for this forum!

Which band has the cutest marching band shoes? My vote is for the San Francisco marching "Homeless Hundred" They have shoes full of holes, with newspaper sticking out of them.

Drillmasters?

Those have to be THE worst shoes as far as comfort...polishing ability...and overall quality in the entire world. Rolled heel? uh, how's a 70 degree cut out of the plastic heel considered "rolled?"

To tell you the truth...I think the only shoes that are remotely comfortable are the MTX's(by cesario) that some of the Drum Corps currently march with...all of the others...well...they suck.

I totally agree with Clusknay on this one. Plus, they double in casual wear. :D hahaha

I remember back in '96 when I was marching with RCC I lost my black dinkles ( at a show no less ) and marched the show in just black socks. Grass gets a little slick when youre marching 160 bpm with a sousaphone on... oh the memories...

Have you guys ever cut your ankles up from your shoes and bled?

Freshman season we had these tan marching shoes and they'd cut into my ankles and now they've got blood all over them. They were horrible.
Uh-oh for life!
