a game theme song show has been done before by some small band i dont remember 2 years ago. i have not actually seen it but before awards i was talking to some peeps in another band about games in general (had this game discussion group) and they told me when they arrived, a band in the morning show did that type of show! i wish i coulda seen it!

i heard we were going to a pirates of the caribbean but it is too early to tell, but i realy do hope we do that!! :D

Alright alright, game music is totally cool (well, the REALLY good game music like Metal Gear Solid and Nobuo Uematsu on Final Fantasy), HOWEVER, it HAS to be done RIGHT. If a high school band does do game music (and yes, it has been 'attempted' before), the band has to select the better songs, and execute it well.

If you play Final Fantasy for instance, people will expect you to play it well. Because as of now, the more serious marching band critics will probably think that game music + field is a joke. :shock:
