Rose Parade Participants

Does anyone here know someone who is going to be in the Rose Parade, someway or another? Tell me who and what their going to be in. Oh yeah, and tell me if you tried out for the Pasadena City College Honor Band. I sent in the papers but got the post card thing 2 days after the audition date. lol...

My cousin Carlos Maldonado will be performing in the opening unit for Remo Inc. It will be about 9 guys playing a drum cadence. Same group of guys that just returned from Japan performing at Universal Studios in Japan.

My daughter is marching with RCC.
This is her second time in the Rose Parade. Sh was in the 2002 with Chino High School.
She's having a ball!!!!

My friend Armando will be marching sousaphone for the PCC Honor Band. I tried out too, but didn't get in.
There's always next year.

Yea PCC, They did great. Did anybody see Vanguard cause I didn't see em in the parade, I was watchin ABC. Maybe they went to a commercial while they were goin by or somthin. If ya did, how'd they do?

yeah, I saw Vanguard on abc...not too impressed. The audio clip that also went along with the showing...festive overture...yiiiiiiiiiikes (trumpets, or whatever they had in their hands). Anyone else have a "review" of the 15 second clip? I thought some of the other groups were pretty solid though...RCC was good. Also...one particular marching band was just ridiculous in size...i didn't catch the name of them, but they had on Red/White/gold unis...somewhat similar tunic design to that of Logan. with the zig zag down the center, and red and white splitting each side. Anyhow...they were huge. hahah
