For fall I only do marching band but spring i do drumline (yay snares!) and track and field (go pole vaulters!)... its hard juggling the two especially when you have two events on the same day. Always go with band though...track is fun but music, and most definitely drumming, has taken over my life.

I used to play Water Polo, but then came band, and then came the matter of practice every day, and the matter of funds, and where to put them...

Do you think it's strange that there's a way of how you look and how you act and how you think? Pretend they're not the same as you.

when i was in high school i played football my freshman and junior years and had to juggle them around band. i also played baseball for four years (three years of varsity). after high school i juggled playing junior college baseball and marching PC. in 2001, i passed up a chance to play for a scout team affiliated with the dodgers in order to stay dedicated to PC during the summer. the next year, my age out year, i finally had to choose between baseball and drumcorps. i decided to stay loyal to my baseball team and not miss a big game. by playing that game i missed my chance to be in BD. right now im in my senior year in college on a scholarship. id have to say that ive had so many great experiences in baseball and band that i would still have problems choosing between the two. one thing is for sure, im glad i quit football.

I being the crazy person that I am, I'm on the swim team, and cross country sometimes. i do drumline, jazz band, and normal band stuff. I'm also the president of the AVHS Anime Club, and man, things are conflicting! I'm not doing swim this year because our line is competing in WGI so, no time for swim practice. It's all about P Line!

Yeah I played basketball for about 8 seasons then in high school it would have been too much. Now it's all about the trumpet. I have to focus on my position. Besides, band is a sport!
