Armenian Dances (Reed)
Dance of the Tumblers (Rimsky-Korsakov)
Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini (Rachmaninoff)
Overture to Russlan and Ludmilla (Glinka)

It was a very musically-challenging/tiring show with the winds playing in almost every measure. Thanks to everyone who supported us.

mayfair high school played Music By John Rutter: Gloria Mvt 1, Pie Jesu, Gloria Mvt 3 (in essence it was the same show as the Cavies, Key Poulan (who arranged the Cavie's vers) rewrote it for our instrumentation). our parade march is Glorious Victory.

At Madera:

March-"Revelation" okay, I guess...

Field Show-Comissioned piece, "Lords of the Sea" (Viking Show)

Opener-"Out of the Mist (of Bloody Welcome)"

Ballad-"Aiyana'a Theme"

Closer-"The Skraelings Attack/Orn's Death"

Pretty cool, we won with it, but it wasn't the best...

Field Show!

Post by vibelady2005 » Tue Jan 27, 2004 7:06 pm

This year the Antelope Brigade's Field Theme was Babylon 5
The songs were: [1] Geometry of Shadows [2] Mind War [3] Chrysalis and [4] Crusade. It was fun, but too simple. We have two prospective shows for next year. [1] Gustav Holst's 'Mars' (it has an awesome baritone solo!) or [2] Music from 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. Our march is 'Joyce's 71st New York regimental March.' Interesting no?

My freshman year, our theme was 'Chrono Moon & Gundam Universe' It was a total anime show. [1] Chrono Chross [2] Ryoko's Memories from Tenchi and [3] Gundam Wing, Rythm Emotion
March: Storm King

Sophomore year: 'Tim Burton's: The Nightmare Before Christmas'
[1] This is Halloween [2] What's This [3] Making Christmas [4] Jack's Lament and [5] Halloween Reprise!
March: Flash of Crimson
