Why will nobody post WBA Prelims and Finals scores?

Here it is, 10 PM Sunday night, and there are no scores posted for yesterday's WBA Championships. In past weeks people would rush to our forum to post the scores, but for the season finale nobody is talking, I don't get it? WBA doesn't have them on their website yet and other than a few top spots we have no idea how everybody did. Did anyone go to the Class A/AA shows and write down the scores? How about Class AAA/AAAA Prelims? Somebody.... anybody....????

Being an administrator, I'm sure you're aware that the majority of the posters on this board are from Southern California bands. Championships were here in Fresno, central California, probably a 5-hour drive for the majority of the high-frequency posters. An overwhelming amount of these members would not have left Fresno until sometime today, probably in the afternoon, which should have them arriving home tonight. That, in conjunction with the fact that the WBA website has been rather slow in posting the scores from yesterday (they still were not up, the last I checked) provides a partial answer. Furthermore, there were at least three different show sites yesterday--one for A prelims, one for AA prelims and A/AA finals, and one for AAA/AAAA prelims and finals, so it's extremely improbable that any one person knows the outcomes for all four classes in both prelims and finals.

There is already information on here about the top bands at AAA/AAAA finals, but if you were wondering about prelims, I can recall from memory the top 5 and captions as well as some scores

Clovis West -- General Effect, Visual (tie), Music (tie) 93.2
Mission Viejo -- Percussion, Music (tie) 93.05
Ayala -- Visual (tie) 92.9
Upland -- Music (tie) ?
Beyer -- Auxiliary ?

Being an administrator, you should be able to know these things without relying on people posting numbers. You should just be able to close your eyes and DIVINE these numbers out of the ether. COME ON DAVE!! GET ON IT!!! Where is your crystal ball????

You know, for the poster that thinks that it's a question of people getting home from Fresno, I would assume that the folks from WBA would get the numbers up on their site quickly. But uh...who knows...

As the Administrator I happen to know that we have quite a few patrons from central and northern California that attend these shows and visit us on a regular basis. Unfortunately they tend to read more than they post. I think all the vocal SoCal kids on this forum intimidate them a little. That's not really a bad thing, but we southerners could be a little more friendly and be willing to comment on the northern activities and make them feel a little more welcome here.

I go to school west of bakersfield... ish.. does that count??

Anyways, if I did go to WBA champs I would have been at the A/AA site. Since Fresno is half way to my home up north I would have gone straight home after WBA and missed class today, to have a week off for Thanksgiving.

They may be up now, but they definitely were not last night.

Both these groups should get their sites updated.

I e-mailed the WBA this morning and they said they would try and get it posted today. I got my copy from our director.
