Honors to staff and band of RBV

Much honors to the staff of RBV for their miraculous band this year.
Reed Richardson (Esperanza) drill designer, Ken White (Impulse) visual instructor. R. Eric Weirather Band director and Mark Wadleigh as Asst. band director. And many more volunteers to this band helping with the music and marching.
I know personally Ken White deserves credit for the visual work. If the scores are right on the scores page, RBV has taken Visual SS at all of the tournaments they have gone to this year - Etiwanda, Scripps Ranch, and Vista. Mostly, I want to give honors and much respect to the band. I saw your show last year, the year before that, and the year before that. Each year with growth. But this show far surpasses any show that RBV has ever done.
It really is a great show! Far surpassed my expectations of ANY band this year.
Be ready for the hungry wolfs this saturday and the next! Rooting for you!
GREAT job band and staff!

Eric Weirather... man that name sounds familiar. Where did he teach before RBV?

Probably going to screw this up, but I know Eric taught at Mt. Miguel in Spring Valley before getting the RBV job. And before that (where I'm going to screw things up), I believe he got his Masters at Arizona University, and his bachelors at University of Illinois???? I know he's from Illinois...or is it Wisconsin...no no no...I think it's Illinois because I joked with him that he never heard of the Cavaliers or the Phantom Regiment until his senior year in high school...maybe it was Ohio...

Pssst....Turner....shuddup...you're not helping....

Well, HE DID TEACH AT MT. MIGUEL BY GOLLY!!!

I sure hope I can be at Championships to see them (RBV)...sick wife may cause change in plans...

Hey Reed Richardson is our drill writer too. We also have a new Band Director, his name is Daniel James or Mr. James. Any of you RBV guys ever heard of him? He's a great guy, I think he was the drumline instructor for like 7 years at RBV high.

Sick wife

ahh...Mr. James... :D Ramona High School is lucky...Mr. James is the best! :-) He was the percussion instructor for I don't know how many years. And then my sophmore year, 2001, he was the assistant band director. He's a really talented musician, and knows the whole nine yards on music. We miss him! But, it's better for him to carry on his career as a director. Good luck to you in the future.

yea he is a good guy, when he first started here in the summer we didnt know what to think of him but we warmed up to him pretty fast. We took Sweepstakes in percussion yesterday thanks to him so he cant be that bad of a guy. But one bad thing about him is he's come from a big band and we're a tiny band 40-45 members including percussion and guard. But yea he's a good guy.

he is the coolest

Yea and I've only met Reed Richardson once and that was when he as out on the field with us cleaning up our drill. He seemed like a pretty good guy.
