Want to compete in an American Drum Major Competition but not sure how to do so? It's high time you try it!

Any high school student can compete - not just active drum majors! The competitions are a great way to compete individually and improve your skills for upcoming tryouts.

Competitors create their own routines in Field Conducting, Military baton and Mace. Military and Mace competitors compete on an L-shaped parade route that includes turning around at the end of the L and returning to the original starting spot. (Known as the "L-pattern.")

Field conductors choose their recorded piece to perform on a podium for anywhere between 2-4 minutes (depending on division, please check rule book!)

Competitors may compete in all three each day if they would like to! You do not need to be in any drum major program or other organization. All drum majors may represent their school, but decide their show dates and routines on their own.

You can choose your division based on skill set as well!
Apprentice - any beginners
Majors - experienced but still learning
Masters - top of your game

You will leave that day with a demanding experience, new friends from across the region, commentary to help you improve and hopefully an award or two! Come be a part of the toughest, most rewarding and longest-running drum major circuit California has to offer! Sign-up for your spot today!

Or check us out! Admission is free at all shows!
