Richland High Rebels, Uil Aaaa Champions

Fresh off a 13th Place in th BOA Finals in San Antonio, the Richland High Rebel Band went from wire to wire in winning the UIL State Marching Band Class AAAAContest at the Alamodome.
The Rebels with a score of 5. meaning 1st from all five Judges swept to the crown. 2nd Place went to Friendswood High School, with Connally High of Pfllugerville taking 3rd. Roma High from the Rio Grand Valley took 4th, with fifth going to the Birdville Hawks from the Fort Worth Area, and a rival of Richland. Sherman High was a strong 6th Place with Brenham finishing seventh. Scores and positions for both Prelims and Finals are listed on the Texas Scores.
