Why is this unfortunate??? If your're a euph lover...then I don't understand how you could contradict what you had originally posted
Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that. I love euph and am happy that we're marching it, it's just heavier. It's not that bad, really, it just takes a little while to build up the endurance.

What my fellow VMHS euph is trying to say is that we march Concert, 4-valve, compensating euphs, which makes a lot of difference. In terms of marching instruments, i would gladly put up with the weight of a euph to get the darker sound it produces. And seeing as our band goes for strictly a dark sound, euphs are a must! It sounds much better on the low, loud parts our director loves to give us! Thanks for all your imput, and in case you read the 1st post wrong, i do know what the difference is
