Argyle & Sundown Win UIL State Marching Championships

The Argyle Eagles and the Sundown Roughnecks took home Top Honors in the 2003 UIL State Marching Band Championships at the San Antonio Alamodome.

In Class 2A Score
Argyle 6. State Champion
Cooper 14 2nd
Hemphill 15 3rd
Forsan 20 4th
Crane 20 5th


In Class A the Roughnecks from the Panhandle area of Texas Swept 1A honors

Sundown 8 State Champion
Throckmorton 11 2nd Place
Charlotte 18 3rd
Overton 18 4th
Sudan 20 5th

How does this work a 8 beats an 11. I know the UIL doesnt use scores just rankings? Nevermind I went to there web site in this case a higher number is a lower ranking.
