Lineup - 10th Annual Riverside King Band Review - 10/18/2014

Post by Luis » Thu Oct 02, 2014 9:09 pm

The 10th Annual Riverside King Band Review takes place on tree-lined Cole Avenue, just south of Kinnow Lane in the beautiful Woodcrest area of Riverside, California. The event features a quiet, wide street route with plenty of clear spectator viewing, including an inviting green park directly across from the judges’ stand. It is hosted by the award-winning Riverside Kingsmen Band and Color Guard from Martin Luther King High School that will display their talents at the end of the parade. Admission is free of charge.

The awards ceremony will take place at Martin Luther King HS stadium, starting at approximately 11:45 AM.

Adjudicators for the Riverside King Band Review are provided by the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association (SCSBOA).

Because they are only marching their freshmen band members (9th graders).

Got it. My guess is they will still finish pretty high in the overall scoring.

Gotta say, that's pretty cool that Diamond Bar has two parade blocks, with one being a freshman block!

I wonder if I should compete with a freshman only block of 8 with 5 auxiliary. Probably not, that would be an entirely different world wouldn't it?
