Status of Marching Band at Murrieta Valley

Post by The Aceman » Tue Aug 19, 2014 6:56 pm

I noticed that Murrieta Valley wasn't at any SoCal competitions this past year. Does anyone have any info. as to why, will they no longer be fielding a competitive marching band? If so, this is sad news for my Alma Mater, would hate to see them not marching anymore. That would mean both high schools I attended have stopped fielding marching bands. :td:

Here's to hoping they were just taking a year off...any information is appreciated.

Murrieta Valley took the year off last year in order to fund a trip to Washington DC to represent California in the National Memorial Day Concert Series, Parade and D-Day commemoration.

PHEW! Thanks for the info. good to know! As you can see I haven't kept up to date with the marching world lately. This is good news, I'll look forward to following them this year :!:
