Derek was kind enough to write my band one more march in what I hope will be my last year before I retire. My daughter graduates this year and I intend to "graduate" this year with her!!

Interesting story. The march is surprisingly traditional considering the era it was written in. SO much music like this lost forever in libraries (or worse...trash bins) all over the world. Sad that the "Heritage of the March" series was cut short by it's sponsor's untimely demise. His purpose was record ALL the marches he could find from whatever the source. I'm afraid that even with over 200 LP's produced he barely scratched the surface.
