Thank you! But are you not allowed to post Rancho Bernardo's performance?

"Thank you! But are you not allowed to post Rancho Bernardo's performance?...."

That's what i was thinking too. I had someone say to me," That the director told the parents NOT to post videos on line this season", but I thought they were kidding.

I wonder if Luis will tape RB at Arcadia. I can understand not posting field videos BUT band reviews? Really????

I cannot understand why the Director is worried about posting the Bands performance at a Band Review. Really, does he think that any person watching their performance on you tube will gain an unfair advantage against his Band. The season is over out there in two weeks and for the rest of us across the country, we have nothing to gain by looking at his Band perform. I have never understood why a director who allows his Band to perform in public has a paranoia about their being filmed.

As a graphic designer/videographer/photographer/performer, I've always learned that if you are performing or doing anything in the public sphere, photography and video of you are fair game. It's very odd that this is the case with RB, and somewhat disappointing! Most of us are marching band fans wanting to see their performance for the sheer sake of enjoyment, not trying to copy their dynamics and glide-step!

Completely agree. I'm bummed that I don't get to listen to what I'm sure is a FINE rendition of 'Bullets and Bayonets.'
