Yep. Not a misprint, and a deserved score.

They had a brutal, brutal run. At least six drops just in the intro and first strain of the march alone. There WAS a stiff breeze... but it wasn't gale force wind, and the wind had been pretty consistent (El Dorado and Rancho Bernardo dealt with the same wind, as did most of the 5A bands). Maybe two of the six drops I saw were the result of the wind catching the flag and pulling it away; the other four drops were plain ol' bouncing off the hands onto the street.

It was a bad day for them. It happens. :(

That's one low auxiliary score for Arcadia  I thought it was a typo too.

How were the rest of the parade performances? Anyone that stood out?

Mt. Carmel scored an 88.70 in field and 91.30 in parade. They were fourth overall (combined Parade/Field) with a 180.00.

I'd like to say a belated thank you to the Mt. Carmel band for hosting such a nice event! I really enjoyed the day and getting to see all the bands and hard work the students put in really pay off.

Oh... and to the ass-hats in the house on the hill above the field. I hope your terrible taste in loud music helped you have a nice party. And that you got some lovely dog doo on your lawn :)

AMEN

Although "ass-hats" is just a bit too kind.
