Is it just me or are those scores SUPER low? More than a few bands in the 30's and 40's?

They are low, but there were also quite a few very incomplete bands at the show. Lots of guards with very little choreography performed and just marched around a bit or were at the sidelines much of the time, many bands performing for only a few minutes then taking their time to get off the field etc. One group literally stood still for basically an entire tune, after having done one short tune that had very little drill and didn't even have complete color guard work with it. Also, Royals stadium is not the most small band friendly. I remember the first time I saw it, I couldn't believe how far the sideline is from the track, couple that with the highest press box I've seen at a show other than Rampage, and you've got a difficult situation.

At Rancho Bernardo:

* Mt. Carmel won Band Sweeps with an 80.something
* Mt. Carmel won: Music, Visual Effect Sweeps
* Eastlake won: Percussion and Aux. Sweeps
* Westview won: Visual Sweeps
* The host school performed very well :wink:

I'm 99.9% sure of those results, but it's based on memories of what my wife told me Saturday night (I was at the RBV tournament) so if I'm mistaken please someone fix the info for me
