I'm shocked! Vista del Lago has never had a marching band (neither street nor field). Guy Pierce was adamant about that and taught orchestra ONLY since taking on the music director position when the school opened.
With that said ... who is the current instrumental music teacher (it's not listed on the website) and does anyone know how they fared with The Thunderer?

Sorry for the meta question -- are folks in this forum interested in Northern California? Seems like it's pretty exclusively SoCal.

For example, I could enumerate all the parade marches from Cupertino Tournament of Bands (and I have video of most of them, too). Is that appropriate here?

I realize you are new, but check the entire thread, there are many listings from Nor Cal. But this thread is almost 9 months out of date...last fall is long over. Soon people will start posting next year's street marches. I think people are always looking for new posters, as some bands only do maybe one or two reviews, and unless someone see's them and posts, we never know. Another set of eyes and ears/contributor is always appreciated.
