Great Opening Day for Marching Season

This morning dawned bright and early for the 1200 High Bands in TX who began preparing for the upcoming marching season. Temperatures while High are a bit lower than in previous summers.
El Paso was only 92
Amarillo was only 88
Then you have the hotter areas
Austin is 100
Houston is 93
Dallas Metro is average 97
Longview(Home of the military Marching Bands) is 95.
First football performances start on 29 Aug
For 1A, 2A and 4A Bands, onl7 96 days until the State Marching Championships
