2013 SCSBOA Championship Sites

Does anyone know the school sites for SCSBOA Championships?

I believe the 3a/6a championships are at Mt. Carmel High School but would like to know about 1a/4a and 2a/5a championships

It is my understanding that the 2013 SCSBOA Championship Sites are:

1A / 4A - Aliso Niguel High School - Aliso Viejo, CA

2A / 5A - Ramona HS Riverside - Riverside, CA

3A / 6A - Mt. Carmel High School - San Diego, CA

Has this information been published anywhere? I haven't seen it on SCSBOA's site anywhere or in the newsletter (at least not the most recent one).

Just curious if these locations are locked down yet or not, going to be a really long drive for my group if this is the case.

Yes, these sites are "locked down." Unfortunately, it's always a long drive for a couple of bands no matter where the sites are.

I know it's early (and subject to change), but browsing some calendars, check out the 6A class for SCSBOA Championships. Maybe it should be held in San Diego more often

I thinks it has more to do with the pre-Thanksgiving show date rather than the venue...I could be wrong though...

The SCSBOA office has received many applications from ALL 6 classes! Don't forget - application deadline is October 15. The grid will go up soon!
