Greg Christiiansen, you will be missed. Here is a nice article on his retirement.

For those interested, Mr. C's last performance as the Golden Valley director of bands will be at the program's annual Spring Fling concert on May 12th.

Because of the expected large crowd, the event is being moved to the newly refurbished Merced Theater on Main St. Those in attendance will be entertained by performances from the Golden Valley Cardinal Regime Marching Band, Winter Percussion, Winter Guard's A and B, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, B Jazz and A Jazz. In addition there will be a special jazz performance by alumni of Mr. C's Merced and Golden Valley bands. Those performing in this band are current professional musicians or music instructors.

Should be a great night of fun to recognize the contributions that this fine teacher made for our kids.

What time will the event start, and is there a fee to get in?

The event begins at 6:30pm. Tickets are $10 each. (The band is being charged a rental fee for the theater)
