Congragulations to both John North and Murrieta Valley at Lester Oaks. Both bands had a great performance! :D I'm already looking forward to the Vista Tournament next Saturday! Will JW North be there or somewhere else? Kudos to all the bands yesterday.

I believe the BSR has an open calendar on the 8th of November. However will likely be at SCSBOA championships, based on qualifying scores.

That's a bummer but we will probably see you at championships, if not at Temecula. We always enjoy competing against North. It will also be interesting once we compete against Granada Hills, whom we haven't had the opportunity to compete against yet.

I am pretty sure both bands (BSR and MV) will meet at SCSBOA. I have not had an opportunity to see Granada Hills. I wonder if they will be at Savanna FST November 18th?

Anyway, for what it is worth, in my opinion I felt that MV should have been percussion sweepstakes. I was surprised you did not win that award. I found your drum line to be very good.

The BSR finished 5th at the Big Orange Classic. It is WBA, not SCSBOA judged. Trabuco Hills had a few sweeps awards.

Good luck until our bands meet again.

Hey thanks for the compliment on percussion...that first place was kind of bittersweet losing sweeps to a 4a band for the second week in a row, esp. when we swept are first competition, beating the attending 6a bands also. Oh well were working for that high again and hopefully we can acheive it.
