Re-check Drum Major scores...

Mountain View was in the Military Class and was announced 5th behind Diamond Bar.

Mountain View's Drum Major was Military and actually should be 4th.

It is certainly possible that the Mountain View HS Drum Major was military, but the drum major judge determined he was Mace and he was likely announced as 5th Place after Diamond RANCH High School, who scored 89.1. There was a ten minute (expanded from 5 minute) perusal period when the Band Director and Staff has an opportunity to point out any errors before the awards were finalized. I didn't hear that there were any errors in the drum major scoring or placement.

I don't ever post results because I heard them announced or what I saw. I post them when I have the recaps as reference.

I feel you Dennis, this list is just like the recap.

No arguments here, but I was approached by my student from Mayfair HS with her 5th place trophy in the Mace category. I spoke with the judge (after perusal) and he confirmed Mtn. View performed as a Military DM. This was all after the awards have been presented.

I believe Abel is correct and Mtn. View received a DM trophy for the Military DM category at the awards. If memory serves right, I believe Abel is the current band director for that school :D

With regard to scores for the 5A field show: The scores page has Arroyo with 73.55 in 3rd for band, yet the SCSBOA recap has the score as 73.95 in 2nd. Can someone fix that please? Thank you.

Sorry about that... one of my rare typos considering how many scores I type in manually! My eyes were getting fuzy last night and that 9 looked like a 5 at 2 AM.
