$2,000 in Travel Stipends!

For 2011, Parade Band Foundation, Inc. has allocated $2,000 (minimum of $500 per recipient) in travel stipends, from generous public and private grants, for out of area bands attending the Otay Ranch Town Center Band Review and Community Festival on November 12. The event is part of City of Chula Vista's Centennial Celebration. These come as a "First Come, First Serve" basis and are dependent upon receipt of application and entry fee confirming committal to the event.
Out of area bands confirmed to receive travel stipends for 2011 are:
Quartz Hill High School
Distance: 188 miles
Garey High School
Distance: 120 miles
South El Monte High School
Distance: 130 miles

Free toll is being offered via the South Bay Expressway (SR-125) to ALL bands' busses, semis, trailers, etc. as part of the South Bay Expressway's sponsorship for the band review!
