JSUSD (Crockett, CA) Seeks Dance/Color Guard Instructors

Post by Barry » Sun Aug 21, 2011 9:25 am

The John Swett Unified School District (Crockett, CA) is seeking an instructor available to teach a studio class for approximately 8 to 10 beginning-level high school students, 7:10 am - 8:05 am, Monday through Friday.

The job requirements include:
•Responsibility and accountability: a commitment to the students and the program for the entire academic year
•Ability to train beginning-level students in movement fundamentals (both ballet and jazz, preferred, but not required) and color guard equipment fundamentals (flag, sabre--and--rifle, preferred, but not required)
•Successful completion of the mandated background-screening.

The District is also seeking a program manager/instructor for its middle school program. While the middle school’s classes are held “after-school,” there is some flexibility related to the exact days and times of class meetings. Ideally, the District would prefer to employ an individual who could fill--both--the high school and middle school roles.
