Don’t miss the

7th Annual
Riverside King Band Review
Saturday, October 22, 2011
9:00 AM

This fast-growing event is hosted by the award-winning Riverside Kingsmen Band and Color Guard, under the direction of Mr. Charles J. Gray. Chairman of the event is Dennis P. Rodda.

This highly competitive event featured twenty two high school and middle school parade bands in 2010 and promises to be even larger this year.

Judges from the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association (SCSBOA) will evaluate performances for both high school and middle school bands, drill teams, auxiliary units, and drum majors.

The picturesque tree-lined parade route in the beautiful Woodcrest neighborhood in Riverside, California begins on Cole Avenue at Krameria Avenue, marching north on Cole to Bergarmont Drive, with the competition area near the intersection of Cole Avenue and Kinnow Lane. A large public park directly across from the judges’ stand provides plenty of area for spectators to see the competition free of charge.

The entry fee for the Riverside King Band Review is $200 per band, plus an additional $50 for drill team, if applicable. The application deadline is September 14, 2011.

Please join us October 22 to see and hear some of Southern California’s very best competitive parade bands, including defending Sweepstakes winners, Glendora High School and Palm Desert Charter Middle School.
