Alan L, I think we're pretty much on the same page. I do have some loose ties to VM via a friend but I also have ties with many other schools mostly in the Mid West as having been involved in the marching band circuit in that area for over 20 years.

I also have met John Lack at CW and I think they are very fortunate to have a director with his passion and dedication.

Would Granite Bay crack the top 20 list in CA?

As of now, Ayala is not confirmed to be attending BOA SoCal Regionals this upcoming season.

But in other news. Confirmed Ayala will be traveling to
Oct. 29, 2011
BOA Regional St. George, UT - Dixie State College

Vista Murrieta will also be making their way to St. George, Utah as well. This is making out to be another great marching band season.

I have a feeling St. George will be replacing Indianapolis for most BOA trips for CA bands.

Where's Mt. Carmel? I mean they usually rank 2 to rancho Bernardo and usually beat out chino and Poway.

What I want to know is where are Hostrauser's updated Top 100 Rankings for 2014? As for the rankings he did back in 2011 I was surprised to see John W. North so far down the list, when I was marching they were winning pretty much everything. Alas, that was a decade ago now...feeling old...

Can't have 2014 rankings until the 2014 season is over.

Preparing for a cross-country move. Not sure how much time I'll have for rankings this year.
