Join us on Tuesday, November 18, 2008, as South Hills High School hosts its 5th Annual Showcase of Bands field show tournament at Covina-Valley District Field, located on Puente Avenue, just west of Citrus Avenue, in Covina.

Gates open at 4:00 pm.

Admission to the show is $5.00 for general admission and $3.00 for students with ID. Military personnel in uniform and children under four are free.

7:05 pm – Golden Valley

7:20 pm to 7:25 pm - Break

Division 4A
7:25 pm – Covina

8:10 pm – Arroyo

Division 5A
8:25 pm – Rowland
8:40 pm – Los Osos

The Showcase of Bands field show tournament is almost upon us. If you're in the area (or even if you're not), make plans to join us on Tuesday, Nov 18. As you can see from the line-up, it promises to be a great show.

I really think the 4A division is too close to call. The 5A i want to say Los Osos but you cant leave out Rowland because they are pretty good.

Is South Hills not playing?

if they do it will be in EXH........
I would like to see how good Azusa really is. 79!!! I don't know if that is true or the judges are just being really nice. We will see when they are put up against the 4A and 5A bands.

Last I heard from one of the South Hills staff was, unfortunatley...NO, they will not be performing...

Too bad, it would be nice for them to post another number for everyone to discuss...

Does anyone know if the show is going on as planned? The air quality is still less than normal in this area.

I asked the show coordinator via email this morning....no reply. Crossing my fingers...

The show will go on as scheduled! Hope to see you there. An email was sent to all the Directors this morning.
